we just returned from a fun camping trip to arches national park! i'm a two night kind of camping girl so this trip was the perfect length for me! we had a great time and the kids had so much fun. we went on a couple hikes, the first was to delicate arch. we hiked it at sunset and it was so beautiful!
the second day there we went on a little adventure to sand dune arch. the kids had a hay day playing in the sand dune! we spent a lot of time there just playing and enjoying in the soft, cool sand. ahh... it was so nice to get a break from the heat.

later that afternoon everyone (except me and the kids under age 5) headed off to hike the fiery furnace. i wouldn't have fit through some of the tight spaces even if i would've like to have gone! it was so hot and windy at the camp that i took the littles and we headed down to moab for some a/c, ice and frostys!
the pictures were pretty cool and hopefully i can go next time!
we made it home safely and washed everything. it was all covered in red sand. for a little r&r after that camping trip we went and got pedicures! it was much needed. my varicose veins and other pregnancy "side effects" are really acting up. it was nice to sit and get pampered. asha got to stay her "cousin, starships" house and play all weekend! we had a very happy puppy!
