annual grandeur peak hike

i was thinking that i didn't want to participate in this years annual grandeur peak hike.  however, the night before the hike i was feeling sad that i wasn't going.  so... we all packed up and headed out with my family the morning of memorial day.  i didn't think i'd make it to the top, but i did make it to the "big bend".  sophie was so cold and i was feeling nauseous so we turned around and headed down the mountain with my sister.  we still had a fun time and i'm glad i at least tried and made it a couple of miles! 

 cute boys on top!  jack was a champ and did great this year.  we even decided to take asha up and she had  a great time hiking up with her favorite girl, amelia :)

 after the hike we headed up to park city with katie and eric and unfortunately i didn't get any pictures.  we had a lot fun though.  we also headed back up later that week with my sister, sjaanie and her kids.  sophie loves playing with the big girls and they are such good sports and take such great care of her!
