a few weeks ago i threw a baby shower (along with my mom and sisters) for my brother bart and his wife canessa! i am so excited for them. i had so much fun planning this shower and probably spent too much time on pinterest gathering fun ideas. i first saw this "preppy little man" themed shower and loved the colors and many of the ideas. most of my colors and little details came from there. here are a few pictures from the actual party!
i had this little table set up as you walked into the house. there were some cute baby and toddler pictures of bart and canessa with some little thank you's and a guessing game of the baby's weight and the date he'll be born.
i tried to stick with the colors navy blue, lime green and grey. i could decorate an entire room in these colors! i love the way the pendant banner turned out, now i just need a place to hang it!
and last, but not least a cheesy picture of both canessa and i in our glorious pregnant state. i thought we should snap one seeing how it will probably only be our only one together! we're practically the same size and she's due two months before me!
can't wait to for the little man to arrive and see what he looks like. the big question... will he have hair unlike all the other nieces and nephews? canessa is sure hoping so! ahhh... how i love babies!
