my baby is one!

i want to post about my wonderful trip home to utah, but before that i want to post about my sweet baby girl. sophie turned one last tuesday! i really can't believe it's already been a year since she was born. she is such a joy in our lives and we are so thankful that she is in our family. i'm a little sad she's not such a baby anymore, but i have to keep remembering to not cry because it's over (or in the past), but smile and be happy that it has happened. we had two fun birthday parties for her. one in utah and one here tonight.

sophie loved her cake in utah. note for future "1st" birthday's though - no chocolate cake! she was up all night and had the biggest blowout i (i mean matt) has ever seen.
