Strawberry Fields

There are many things I would miss about Washington if we moved. Picking strawberries at Remlinger Farm would be one of them. Jack and I picked strawberries today with our friends Amber, Sara, and their kids. We had a great time. The weather was fabulous and I may even have gotten a little bit of a tan! How nice would that be?

Look at this delicious bowl of stawberries. Hard to beat, right off the vine.

Yum... homemade jam. One of my favorites!

Jack was such a good little helper. He loved playing in the dirt and smooshing the berries. It saved me some work when I got home!

Amber & Enoch.
Sara. What a champ! She's due in less than two weeks and was still out here with us!

I would say Sara is a champ! I refuse to go outside! :0) I get tired walking in the mall :0) I wish we had some sort of strawberry picking farm here-- that would be so fun! I really need to learn how to make jam :0) Move here so you can teach me please :0)

Joanna- you are too nice saying I am a champ! I was only thinking about all the yumminess I would get to eat and my appetite took over my ability to feel pain.... don't worry- it came back and I was exhausted the rest of the day!
