i am so behind on my blogging. it makes me sad that i haven't had time to do something i really enjoy. maybe i'll get caught up one day, maybe not. we had such a fun summer and have enjoyed a great fall... trip to seattle, trips to bear lake, races, preschool started, house projects, birthdays, boutiques, disneyland, etc. etc.
the most important lately though is jack's birthday. he turned 5! wow! my baby boy is 5. i'm old enough to have a 5 year old?!? here are some pictures (unedited since my ps isn't working) from this weeks celebrations. we went bowling on his actual birthday. he had a fabulous day/week. it's been fun and we have more parties this weekend with the grandparents!
birthday fun! i asked jack if he'd like a present for his birthday or if he'd rather go bowling for his present. he chose bowling. the kids loved it and jack actually won!
i wasn't going to do a birthday party this year, but jack kept praying about it.... so i thought i better oblige. i kept it very small, but i think he still had a great time!

jack is growing up. he still loves stuffed animals, going to preschool, playing with friends, watching movies, eating apples and sweets (who doesn't), hugs, riding his strider bike, learning (especially about his body). jack is very interested about life and all the details, it's really cute. he told me his favorite thing to do is to learn! we love you jack-a-roo.

drake loved coming to Jack's party! kids love parties!!! Thanks for the invite. Sorry it was a little stressful with all the feelings involved with the party participants.
