my new regime

i have been trying to find some kind of work out that fits in with my schedule and life style and i think i've found one (at least for the winter). a few people told me about this jillian michaels work out dvd so i decided to buy one and try it out for myself. let me tell you... i was so sore! i'm so excited to have something i can do at home while sophie is napping. it saves me at least 30-45 minutes of driving time. and, nobody can see me, so who cares what i look like, right?!?
so, if you don't have a lot of time or money, this is a great alternative. i think it cost like $7 on amazon. my abs better look like that in 30 days!

Are the moves very hard? I did Buns of Steel years ago (back when I was in good shape) and my bum hurt for a week. A lot of the moves gave me a charlie horse too. Even more frustrating, the people in the video looked out of shape and they were able to do it. I don't mind being sore afterwards as much as screaming in pain and looking like a fool while doing it.

P.S. Love your new header! So cute.

This is the best video because she has two others with her. One does a harder version of the exercises and the other does any easier version so you can pick whatever level you like. It has 3 levels and you work your way up. I'd totally recommend it, plus the workouts are only 20 minutes (intense, but short).

I'll have to check it out. It's nice to have some variety.

I have this DVD but I haven't done it very much. Brandon decided to get P90X and so we started doing that. It's more expensive, though, and I think that the cardio portions are just as intense as the 30 Day Shred. You go, girl!

P.S. I think that Haylie has the pink sweater Sophie is wearing below. Haylie and I were just looking at them and she waved to Sophie and said, "Hiiii!" When are we going to be able to get together??

Ooh - this sounds really great! I'll have to try it. I've been horrible at exercising this past year, but that doesn't mean that I can't change... :)

Oh boy, oh boy! This is one of my FAVORITE workout videos. I've been doing this video and Jillian's "No More Trouble Zones" video for about 2 months now. I absolutely love them. This one is awesome because it's only 20 minutes. Even on days when I don't have any time I can still find time to squeeze in 20 minutes. The other video is 45 minutes long and it is killer! I feel so toned all over from doing these workouts religously. I definitely don't have abs like Jill's but I am much stronger than I used to be in the midsection. I've been doing level 3 for a week now and my oblique's are starting to feel hard. I love it! I'm so glad you love it too!
