we celebrated our 5th anniversary by packing up a little picnic and heading off to phantom lake. we had sparkling cider, plastic cups, and all! my wonderful friend
monica and her husband jeremy watched the chillins so we could have a little time by ourselves. thank you so much! we haven't gone on a 'solo' date for quite some time. it was so much fun to just be the two of us.
matt got me some beautiful flowers and i made him this delicious triffle. my first if i might add. i've been wanting to make this forever. on a random note i used two dishes from our wedding that i have never used before. they were still packaged up waiting for a day (and dessert) like this.

It was fun to have Jack and Sophie play at our house! Sam loved it. We'll need to do that again.
