a sweet treat

sophie's first plane ride - she did great!

a few weeks ago i had the opportunity to fly home with sophie to utah. it was her first time meeting a lot of the family. remember last year how i went to vegas for a "girls weekend" with my family. well, this year we decided to head up to park city instead. we had a great time! we went to dinner, talked, watched a movie, ate way too much junk food, and went shopping at the outlets. unfortunately for me and probably fortunately for you i didn't really get any good pictures.

here sophie is meeting her "other" sweet aunt katie for the first time! we also enjoyed a delicious meal at cafe rio... always a must.

sarah jayne meet sophie, sophie meet sarah jayne.

i'm so excited that sophie has a girl cousin so close in age. they're only about 5 months apart.

my awesome brother arie! he's got quite the beard going. btw-check out those thighs on the girl.

my niece abigail and sister sjaanie. i use to babysit abigail all of the time. she was my little bud. i can't believe she's almost 12 and going to be in young womens soon. she's now the one babysitting!

happy girl!

right after i got home matt and jack headed off to our wards father-son camp out. jack had a great time and loved it!

jack just chillin' in the tent!

then my sweet sister katie came to town with her friend whitney and we got to hang out all weekend! they are so much fun and jack just loved the attention! here they are playing in the water at lake sammamish.

then a big wave came and knocked jack over (too bad we didn't get a picture). but, luckily katie jumped in after him and then he got to wear daddy's jacket so he didn't freeze.

the troll... i can't believe we hadn't been to see him during the last 4 years of living here.
