matt and the kids had a "camp-out" in the back yard. the kids loved it, especially the stories matt told them. they keep asking when they can sleep in the back yard again. definitely a tradition i think we'll start!

we bought tickets to see wicked before i was even pregnant... i kept telling my doctor i needed to make it to august 21st, then the baby could arrive. it was so fun to see this amazing production with my sisters mary ann and katie as well as my mom. it was a fun girls night out!
the saturday before gwen was born we decided to hike donut falls (hey, i was just trying to get things moving... i figured it couldn't hurt!) matt had never been there before so it was fun to show him a place that i have so many fond memories of. many, many hikes up there in high school with my girls!

props to jack for taking this picture. this was right before we left to my doctors appointment. i thought i better take one last picture of my huge pregnant belly in case it might be my last... and it was!
