bye-bye

saturday was a happy and rejuvenating day! we finally got rid of this table (and the rest of the furniture from the previous owner). it was draining me, piled up in our garage. and now we have this new beauty! we haven't bought new furniture very often. we're big fans of craigs list, but i just couldn't find anything i liked or that was the right size. i love this table. i love the color. i love that it seats 8 (if i want). i love that it's antiqued just enough, and i love that it has a butterfly leaf. i don't have to store any leafs in my closet. don't you just love it (even with sophie's booster seat attached). i'm trying to find a long bench on ksl to paint red or blue to add some fun and color. the new chandelier is coming in this week or next and i'm very excited about that as well.

i ordered this artwork awhile ago from, the wheatfield on etsy. I just picked it up from the frame shop. my mom helped me hang the pictures (they were a pain). i absolutely love this wall, i love the saying and the bright colors (this picture doesn't do it justice) and i love having some family pictures up in the house. it's SO fun to finally be able to start decorating now that the painting is pretty much finished. how long has it been.... over 4 months. hello!

we ripped out our guest bath and part of the master 2 weeks ago. we almost have it put back together and the new carpet for the master is coming this week. i can't wait to move into the room! everything is looking so good and it's finally starting to look like our house!
