here is the recipe for a fantastic sugar cookie recipe! i have eaten way too many though. if my friend ever recommends a recipe i jump at the chance to make it. she is an excellent cook and has great taste (i miss her yummy food and trading dinners with her).
when i read this post a week ago i had high hopes of creating a valentines day similar to theirs. however, the closer we got to the day i knew it wasn't going to happen this year. but, this is a tradition i want to incorporate into our family on valentines day. we still had fun just being together, eating our heart pizza, making/frosting lots of cookies and taking them around to our neighbors.
the weather has been beautiful lately (i'm sure it will snow soon). we've been riding bikes and enjoying our new backyard every day! my kids got plasma cars from my parents for Christmas. they are awesome, even i can ride them around!
