i am tired.

the last two weeks have been an absolute whirlwind. tonight is [finally] our first night in the house. it's taken a lot to get here. we originally thought we'd just tear down the wallpaper, paint, and move in. well, taking down the wallpaper was like opening a can of worms (as always). we've (when i say we i mean me, matt, my mom, and our friend eddie) now mudded, painted, and carpeted our upstairs and it looks fantastic. it's like a new house up there! we've gotten the rest of the wallpaper off, minus the bathrooms and basement. the new windows are coming tomorrow.... it's fun to sit here on our couch with our christmas decorations up! it kind of feels like our house, it will take some time for it to really feel like our home. we ventured out tonight and met some of our neighbors who are all very nice. i have to say how much fun it is being in utah. we've met more neighbors in the past two weeks than we did in the 2 years we were in our house in washington. it's very good to be home!

here's to 3 nights in our new house before we head off to seattle for christmas!
