last week

last week was surprisingly out of the ordinary and ended up being rather refreshing. we got to hang out with these cute kids. my friend and her husband went on a trip so we got to spend time with her kids. i told matt afterwards that i could see myself with four kids (especially if they were as well behaved as sara's)!
seriously?!? so cute and sweet!
we went to an awesome, stephen kellogg and the sixers, concert at the triple door. it was really good!

and, after 5 1/2 years we decided to make the trek to mt. rainier. well, this was our view....

i had to laugh. it took us forever to get there and the kids were super cranky. oh well, at least i can say i've been there.

and then these cute girls from my y.w. took me out to lunch to my favorite hamburger joint to say good-bye. i will miss them and their cute faces!

these were the fun things we did last week amongst all the packing.... i can't believe we'll be out of here a week from tomorrow. yikes! so many emotions, but at this point i'm ready to just move on and be done (i think that is mostly due to the house). it's been a crazy rollercoaster and it will be nice to kind of 'settle down' at my parents for who knows how long! they didn't ask us to speak in church which was a relief, but sad at the same time. i wish we could have said good-bye to our ward. i think moving into our ward even for just a couple of years was a blessing in itself.
