it's been a while since i posted. and you know what, life goes on and it's actually refreshing to not be posting all of the time. i wanted to post a few pictures for my family since they don't get to see us very often.
i can't believe sophie is almost 9 months old. wow! she's so fun and happy. just not last night for the babysitter. supposedly she practically cried the entire time i was at y.w. at least jack was good (i hope).
here's us on the ferry out to the san juan islands. we had a great trip out there for julie's 60th birthday. i wish i had more pictures. hopefully i'll get some once again from other member's in the family.
jack, sophie, and i took a little outing while on the island. we headed up to roche harbor and ate yummy ice cream cones while watching all of the beautiful boats. then we headed down to this really cool alpaca farm. there was only one other kid around so jack got to feed all of the baby alpacas. he loved it and couldn't stop laughing as they licked his hand.
jack is in a 'non-taking-picture' phase. i'm sure you've all been through that. so i don't have many of him smiling/doing a normal smile. the candid ones are always cute though.
in the last few weeks sophie has really figured out how to clap her hands. she gets so excited and claps about everything! how could you not love this chubby little girl!i've been busy trying to figure how to do 'couponing'. i've found a lot of great resources and i'm starting to get the hang of it. hey, anything to save some bucks around here, right?!? i've already acquired a bunch of free stuff.... diapers, shampoo, laundry detergent, razors... it's pretty awesome! i've also been working on a 'happy birthday' sign for our family. it's taken way longer than i thought, but it's turning out really cute. maybe while matt is out of town i'll be able to finish it.
i wish i were going home for conference. this is the first time i haven't been able to go home for the fall session. so, i hope you all enjoy it-especially those of you going to bear lake with out me!
