finally... some christmas business!

we finally have gotten around to doing some Christmas business as a family!
santa's workshop! jack was happy until he had to sit next to santa. he did tell him he would like some cars and "tweats" though.
loving all of the snow! this is all a very new experience for him. matt hasn't been to work since last wednesday. we'll see if we can dig his car out tomorrow and get it up the icy hill. he may have the rest of the week off!
and, lastly... tonight we picked out a christmas tree! better late than never. now it really feels like christmas with our tree and stockings up! hooray!!!
jack loved decorating the tree. he helped matt place every ornament and put the star on top! (do you like his new smile... it's so corny, i can't help but laugh)
oh, and in case you think our house is put together. it's still not... here's the other side of that same room. we're hoping to put the flooring in tomorrow night and start sleeping there as well. it will all come together one day, right?!? on another note. we're down to three weeks. we finally have a carseat and the nursery is in much better shape! when do you think this baby girl is going to make her appearance? i've been dilated to a two for a week or so... any guesses?

Yay!!!

I'm guessing your baby girl will make her appearance on New Year's Eve at 11:59pm and everyone will yell, "Happy New Year!" immediately after. It would make a good story. :-D

Love the two pics of the same room! You would never know. We are hoping you don't have the baby Sunday morning so WE don't have to speak! My real guess is January 1st at 12:01 because then you get lots of free stuff for having the first baby of the year. I think she will be 7 lbs and 1 oz!

Because I'm a New Year's Eve baby myself, I hope your baby girl waits until the new year until she arrives - she might enjoy her birthday a bit more. Even if it means you don't get an extra tax deduction this year :)

Hey! It was good to talk to you! My guess is January 4, at 3:59am and she will weigh 8lbs. 1oz. I just can't believe you are 9 months pregnant, remodeling, moving, and you still managed to get a tree up. you go girl! (and Matt!)
