a "catch-up" post

things have been absolutely insane around here. so many people have put in endless hours helping us get our house ready to move in to. my mom flew in last monday and was here until thursday painting our entire house. i've lost count how many hours kerry and julie have watched and played with jack. i'm so thankful he has had some consistency throughout this entire process. we had so many people from our old and new ward come and help us move into the house yesterday. they moved everything from our storage unit to our house in under 2 hours. quite amazing if you ask me! the list goes on and on. i really can't even list everyone. we aren't living there yet (no kitchen or laundry), but hopefully early this week. we're so excited! i think my wish of getting a Christmas tree may come true this year!

here are a lot of pictures from the past week or two that i thought would be fun to share.

getting ready for swimming... rain boots and all.

jack's first dentist appointment-not a huge success, at least he liked riding up and down in the chair, got a new toothbrush, and didn't mind dr. nelson. a good start!
matt in his space suit working up in the attic.
our demolished kitchen-at least we do have a ceiling now.
out with the old nasty popcorn...
and in with a nice smooth ceiling!
are we neglectful? jack spent quite a while in this box playing with all of his "new" toys that have been boxed up for the past 3 months.
something you don't see everyday in seattle! snow!!! it makes the lights even more beautiful!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
i hope you're all enjoying the season! we are so blessed. thank you to everyone who has helped us.

Hey Joanna!
Well... if I hadn't been having so much fun playing with Sjandi's babies, it would have been fun to come and paint with you and your mom!!! Your mom's amazing and I miss the fun times we use to have. Time is getting close, so keep in touch with the news of the little one! Merry Christmas
Love, hugs and kisses
